"I recently had an afternoon tea at this restaurant. Price was incredibly affordable for the generous portions we received. One of the highlights was the ease of ordering. Instead of waiting for a waiter during the busy rush, the restaurant uses a QR code system, making it quick and simple to place your order directly from your phone. This little touch made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free. The portions were quite large, especially considering the price, which made it a great value for the money. I highly recommend giving this spot a try."

"Decent Hong Kong style casual cafe food with broad menu and good value. The servings are large. Would recommend the baked rice dishes, and the rice noodles are also ok (pictured is beef w/bitter melon, and a dry stir-fried beef). Food comes out quickly."

"Around 2:20pm it was still packed with lunch crowd. They offer lunch special set menu either with rice or noodles and the menu says they come with afternoon tea (which we didn't get but the tables next to us got?). The sodium level in the foods were pretty high but expected when eating out. The BBQ pork and chicken pieces were one of the tasty ones I have had. Prices are pretty reasonable"

"The F&L Gourmet Restaurant is located on Level 2U, opposite Daiso. We went there for lunch and found the food and service to be excellent. I had the Char Kway Teow and it was great. We parked on Level 1U and took the travelator up to Level 2U. We had booked ahead and were immediately shown to our table on arrival. There's a QR code on the table where you place your orders. The food came out quickly."

"This eatery is part of a chain outlet. Still a decent place to have a meal with a specialisation in chinese style roast meats. Some key points about this place: - There is a separate queue for takeaway and for dining in. If there are no seats available, they have a ticketing system to wait for an available table. - Roast duck generally is good. However, this recent one, the duck skin was not as crispy as other times. Not sure if it was because it was a public holiday and the usual roast chef was not around. - The chilli oil as a condiment is pretty decent. - Order is by QR code though there is a slight discrepancy. E.g. in Chinese for the order site, one can choose the different cuts of bbq pork but when it was in English, such a choice was not available. - The staff sometimes forget to bring along the plum sauce that is the condiment for the roast duck. The plum sauce goes well with their roast duck. They will get it when reminded. - For the afternoon tea set meal, hot drinks are included in the price but there is an additional charge when it is a cold drink - There is a surcharge on public holidays. - They accept both cash and card for payments. Payment is collected once the order is placed and before food is delivered."

"Don’t know why this place has such a Low rating. The food is smashing good. The service can be clunky occasionally but who cares; it makes it more authentic. I have dinned here once a week for the past two months and never had a bad experience. My go to is the fried flat noodles with scrambled egg and prawns"

"Great place for authentic Chinese food in middle of Macquarie centre. I came in at lunch time when it was busy however the service was great and staff was very friendly. Ordered their 3 treasure rice (red sausage, soy sauce chicken and bbq pork). The sausage was bouncy and tasted great. The bbq pork was fatty and juicy. Finally the chicken was very tender, juicy and floral / herbally tasty."
